The Photographer

PAST: Rosalyn received her first 35mm camera in junior high. She didn't think much of it until her high school photo teacher told her "You have an eye for this." She graduated from BYU-Idaho with her BFA degree in photography in December 2009. During college she met a camera named, Holga. (Visit http://rosalynphotography.blogspot.ca/2009/12/assingments.html) During her studies she entered into a student art show and received first place in photography. In her senior year she completed the body of work, Main Streets Across North America, in which she traveled from Canada to Mexico photographing main streets in various cities.
PRESENT: Rosalyn is currently living Calgary, Alberta working to establish her name as a local photographer. She just passed her third anniversary with her husband and the birth of their first daughter Stella (who is featured frequently on the blog). To keep creative the pair will go paint, go on photo adventures and experiment with toy cameras.
FUTURE: Someday she hopes to have photographs that is worthy to hang in a gallery.
